The ultra-heavy flannel (UHF) shirts are signature pieces from Iron Heart: heavy, robust, yet surprisingly wearable. The 340 gsm fabric is woven from Aspero cotton from the foothills of the Andes. It is double-brushed on the inside and single-brushed on the outside, creating an exceptionally soft, yet grippy, thick, warm, and windproof flannel. This shirt is designed as an overshirt and is ideal for winter layering, whether as an outer or middle layer. Like traditional Iron Heart work shirts, it features classic patch chest pockets (with pen holder) and a full button placket. The difference lies in the relaxed fit, straight hem, and side gussets, which are typical for mechanic shirts. For a casual look or for layering, choose your normal size; for a more fitted silhouette, go down one size.
