Beschreibung
The modified version of the classic Type III trucker jacket – with a slightly longer cut and additional side handwarmer pockets – is made from 9oz heavy cotton canvas in a plain weave. This canvas is woven from ring-spun American cotton yarns, which are thicker, stronger, and more durable than the open-end yarns typically used for inferior fabrics. This results in a smooth yet robust fabric with more weight than Iron Heart's 7oz "Weather" fabric, but at the same time lighter and more supple than the stiffer 17oz Duck Canvas – an ideal weight for a spring/summer jacket. The fabric's yarns are sulfur-dyed, causing the jacket to gradually fade and develop its vintage character.
