Merz b. Schwanen is a German clothing brand known for its high-quality, vintage-style basics. It was originally founded in 1911 in the Swabian Jura and revived in 2011 by Gitta and Peter Plotnicki. The brand relies on traditional manufacturing methods, especially old circular knitting machines ("loopwheelers"), which produce garments without side seams and with a special fabric structure. Production largely takes place in Germany, complemented by a sustainable line from Portugal. Merz b.
