The Modern Western Shirt is Freenote's homage to the iconic Western shirt – reimagined with refined lines and uncompromising quality. Made from fine 6oz Japanese chambray fabric and entirely produced in the USA, this shirt combines traditional craftsmanship with modern style.
The fabric comes from renowned Japanese weaving mills. A stone-wash treatment makes the material feel pleasantly soft from the first wear, without losing its characteristic denim character.
Typical Western elements such as the shoulder and back yokes, as well as two chest pockets with flaps, are subtly modernized in this model: The classic sawtooth shapes have been gently rounded, making the shirt more versatile to combine and functional in urban everyday life.
Special attention is paid to the details: 1/8-inch double-needle stitch constructions ensure durability and a distinctive look, while selvedge-reinforced side gussets and custom snap buttons made of bone or horn give the shirt a high-quality, authentic character.
