The 1963 Roamer Pant by Pike Brothers is based on a typical 1960s jeans. Between the 50s and 60s, the cut of denim jeans varied greatly, becoming essentially narrower and more fashionable. The 1963 Roamer Pant, made from 11-ounce heavy denim, reflects this.
Pike Brothers have their 11oz selvage denim produced on old shuttle looms. The looms were lovingly restored years ago and are now back in service, producing denim as was common at the beginning of the last century. This denim fabric is designed to be durable and robust. The quality feature is the colored selvedge edge, which is visible when the trousers are cuffed.
